Although we're a competition BBQ team, we spend several weekends a year cooking for various events. We're either cooking for a sponsor or catering a non-profit event. Big thanks to all those organizations that have allowed us to play a part in their event!

We compete at approximately eighteen cook-offs per year throughout Central Texas. This is a small number compared to some teams, but a large number compared to the majority of teams. We are thankful for our sponsors who keep us rolling down the road!

Good Life! Barbeque is an award-winning competition barbeque team based in Bulverde, Texas. While we love to cook barbeque, our real desire is to share our faithfulness and love of Jesus Christ along the way. We give all credit for success as a team to our Maker, and hope to always be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.

When we are fortunate enough to enjoy success in the competition world, we often hear, "You really are living the good life. Now I know where you got your name!"

Good Life! Barbeque is not about living "the good life" as we define it in worldly terms. It's not about money or success. Instead, we prefer to look at "the good life" by God's definition as presented in James 3:13:

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.

While we can never strive to be perfect, we can certainly strive to be humble in all we do. We're honored to cook amongst some great cooks, and humbled when we do well. And, it's why we give God all the glory for any success we enjoy!

We are eager to share our spirituality with anyone, anywhere, any time. In many ways we see our fellow competitors as a mission field. We just get the opportunity to cook barbeque while we're doing it!

Welcome to Good Life! Barbeque.
