Good Life! Barbeque is the award-winning competition barbeque team of Verbalocity. Founded in 2013, Good Life! Barbeque travels throughout Central Texas to compete in barbeque competitions, large and small. We do an average of eighteen cook-offs per year.
There are many cook-offs throughout the state of Texas nearly every weekend of the year. When determining where we'll cook, our number one criteria is location. We like to stay close to home!
Since our first cook-off in November 2013, we have been blessed with eleven (11) Grand Championships and nine (9) Reserve Grand Championships. We have been blessed to qualify for the American Royal World Series of Barbecue several years. God is good!
While some teams are large, we choose to remain small and focused. Our team consists of Clint Swindall, Heather Swindall, and Matt Wheat. We find strength in our choice to remain a team of three in Ecclesiastes 4:12 ...
